Padma Chozin

Padma Chozin, einst Schülerin der kleinen Dorfschule in Lingshed, ist nun erwachsen und schrieb uns heuer im Sommer diesen Brief:

Dearest friends of Lingshed,

my name is Padma Chozin.
I am 21 years old. I belong to a big family with 11 family members. My father is a farmer and my mother is a housewife.
I am very grateful for the members of Friends of Lingshed who have been supporting Lingshed since I was studying in Lingshed.
I also got your support in Khaltsi Hostel.
After completing the 12 th class from Government Higher Secondary school Khaltsi I took admission at Degree College through your support.

But I studied there only 10 months, then I left the college.
Actually I like to teach in backward areas like Lingshed , because I also belong to a backward area and my first schooling started in a backward area. Really I think I am a lucky girl because I reached this goal.
That was your great help. So I never forget your kindness in my life.
